The Brantford Sports Council has developed a number of ways you can actively participate and be part of the continued development of youth sport in our community.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

The Brantford Sports Council has 13 founding member groups and a growing number of Affiliate members who share a similar vision and provide a sport experience to countless youth in our community. 

The Brantford Sports Council is a member of the Community Sports Council of Ontario (CSCO), a collective voice for sport with 43 other community Sports Councils in Ontario.

BE A VOLUNTEER

The City of Brantford is fortunate to have a dedicated and passionate sports community that is instrumental in the growth, development and delivery of youth sports. Sport organizations represent the largest volunteer groups in the community, all the parents, coaches, and Board of Directors are the backbone of each organization. 

The Brantford Sports Council is always looking for volunteers to help us with our special events and fundraisers that are held throughout the year. BECOME A MEMEBER

The Brantford Sports Council (BSC) has created a membership program that is open to any individual, family or organization that shares similar beliefs as the BSC and supports the growth and development of youth sport in our community.

Affiliate members must apply for membership annually and be approved by the Brantford Sports Council Executive.

AFFLIATE PARTNER

Affiliate Membership 1

Open to any individual or family.

  • Membership is FREE with the option of a one-time donation.
  • Youth membership is FREE with parental approval.
  • All registered members must be 18 years of age or over.

Open to any sports group or not for profit organization in our community.
There is an annual membership fee of $100.

Member Benefits:
  • Participation in a variety of sport developments in our community.
  • Opportunity to provide your input and views on sports related issues.
  • Opportunity to participate in sports initiatives and events throughout the year including workshops, seminars, surveys and training and development programs.
  • Promotion of your organization for 1 year on the Brantford Sports Council website that includes your group’s logo and a link to your website.

CORPORATE PARTNER

Open to businesses directly or indirectly responsible for the provision of sport that share similar beliefs, objectives and supports the Brantford Sports Council. There is an annual fee of $250

Corporate members must apply for membership annually and be accepted by the Brantford Sports Council Executive.

  • Opportunity to network and participate in sports initiatives and events throughout the year including workshops, seminars, surveys and training and development programs.
  • Participation in a variety of sport developments in our community.
